What time does UF Health open?
Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Can I park at uf infirmary?
Parking is available but limited. If you are able, taking a bus or shuttle, biking or walking is the best way to reach us. RTS BUS ROUTES: Routes 34 and 38 will bring you closest to the SHCC/Infirmary Building at 280 Fletcher Drive.
What service would you contact first if you felt physically ill UF?
With the exception of urgent illness/injury care during regular business hours, CALL FIRST to be seen. New patients should get their UF ID number and insurance card ready, then call the main number ( 352-392-1161 ) and follow the prompts to establish themselves at the SHCC.

Is Shands Hospital allowing visitors?
UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital No children under 18 are allowed as visitors. Waiting rooms will be closed except for the surgical waiting room on the first floor. Exceptions will be made for patients receiving end-of-life care.
Is UF parking free on weekends?
Vehicles without a valid UF parking decal may pay a daily fee to park in the Reitz Union/Welcome Center Garage, or pay to park in metered spaces around campus. Decal restrictions are lifted on weekends and University holidays. Some decal restrictions are also lifted during certain times of year.
Do you need a car at UF?
You definitely don’t need a car for campus. If you live in the dorms you’re already there, and if you live off campus you can’t park anywhere relatively close anyways. Bus/bike/scooter all the way.

Most parking citations carry a $30 fine, covering such offenses as parking in a restricted area, out of the assigned area or on the grass or sidewalk. Other offenses include a $15 fine for overtime parking in a metered space and $10 for having an improperly attached decal.

Alligators live in swampy areas, rivers, streams, lakes and ponds. Females and juveniles occasionally use seasonal wetlands, such as Carolina Bays. Although they are primarily freshwater animals, alligators will also venture into brackish salt water.

To earn a bachelor’s degree, a student must satisfy the following requirements: Earn at least 124 credits, up to 60 credits of which may be accepted by transfer from another college or university. The last 31 of these credits must be earned while the student is enrolled in classes in this college.
How do I change my major at UF?
Changing your major at UF is a possibility but it is not guaranteed. You are not eligible to change your major at UF until you have completed the critical tracking requirements for your original major and you are still required to meet the AA degree requirements in a timely fashion.
