What is Mt. SAC funded by?
The program is funded by the Employment Training Tax paid by California employers, and targets firms threatened by out-of-state and international competition.
When was Mt. SAC built?
Through dedication and perseverance, the campus community did the impossible. They opened for classes on September 16, 1946. Staff expected an enrollment of 600. By the end of the month, 454 men and 181 women were registered, with a final enrollment number recorded at 682.
What does excused withdrawal mean Mt SAC?
This term, Mt. SAC will continue to allow students to drop with an “EW”—Excused Withdrawal. This is an acceptable mark and does not count against the student’s GPA, academic standing or ability to repeat the course.
Is Mt SAC doing in person classes?
July 8, 2021 – Mt. San Antonio College reopened on July 1. Students and guests can come to campus for assistance. Most fall semester classes will be available in person.

With subscription access to over 100 different databases, the entire SAC community can search for and find ebooks, reference books, journal-magazine-newspaper articles, maps, images, streaming videos, music, and more!

Classes are just $46 a unit for California residents. On average, it costs just $1,400 per year to attend Mt. SAC full time. Close to 75% of our students receive financial aid and pay close to nothing to attend thanks to the Promise Grant.
