Is UC Santa Cruz holding in person classes?
Update: UC Santa Cruz, along with the other nine UC campuses, is preparing to return to primarily in-person instruction as of fall 2021. While we are looking forward to resuming in-person activities on our beautiful campus in the fall, the health and safety of our community remains our highest priority.
Is UC Santa Cruz a dry campus?
At UC Santa Cruz University policy prohibits alcoholic beverages from being sold, furnished, possessed by or given to any person under the age of 21. In accordance with university policy for a smoke-free environment, all university housing facilities and residences are smoke-free.
How much is UCSC UC?
It’s a convenient, inexpensive solution for busy students seeking on-campus health care. The fee is $125.00 per quarter.
Does UC Santa Cruz have a gym?
The Wellness Center is our main gym on campus and is located on the East side. UCSC students are allowed access to the gym with their student ID cards. The facility hours are subject to change but the gym is open 7 days a week.
How do I access my UCSC email?
Every UCSC student is preassigned a CruzID account upon enrollment. You can activate and change the initial password through MyUCSC. All official UC and UCSC communication is e-mailed to the @ucsc.edu address (see the campus e-mail policies).
Will UCSC fall 2021 be online?
Fall 2021 instruction will include a mix of remote, online, and in-person instruction.
Are UC’s going online Spring 2021?
UCLA extends remote instruction and work for spring quarter To continue doing its part to help reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission, UCLA will offer remote-only instruction for the spring 2021 quarter, which concludes June 11, extending the same protocols already in place this academic year.
Can I visit UCSC right now?
For guests wishing to visit campus we encourage the use of our self-guided materials, or visit our events page to see virtual options for connecting with our Undergraduate Admissions staff and current students. There is currently no official date for the resumption of campus tours.
Does UCSC allow pets in dorms?
Domestic animals that are not service animals as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) are prohibited on all UC Santa Cruz property unless specifically exempted by the UC Santa Cruz Non-Research Animal Policy. Please see the policy for guidelines and regulations for exempted animals.
Can I have a pet at UCSC?
Dogs (and cats) are prohibited from the UCSC campus, even inside vehicles, unless specifically exempted. For more information, please refer to the Non-Research Animals on Campus Policy.
Are freshmen required to live on campus at UCSC?
Incoming freshmen are generally assigned to live in the residence halls at their college, except at Kresge College, which has all apartments. Visiting students can apply to live at their affiliated college.
Is UC ship free?
StudentHealth is a free app that allows UC SHIP members and their dependents to access plan ID cards and benefits information from their mobile devices.
