What services does the Mt. SAC library provide?

What type of term does Mt. SAC use?
Our Mt. SAC compressed calendar consist of two 6 week inter-sessions, which are winter, summer. Our primary semesters are the fall and spring which consist of 16 weeks. Unlike a quarter system, which has four equal terms (fall, winter,spring,summer) of usually 10 weeks each.
What is full time at Mt. SAC?
Mt. SAC Teacher Preparation Institute recommends that students who are working full-time ( 40 hours per week ) take no more than 6 units per semester; students who are working part-time (20 hours per week) should take no more than 12 units. Twelve semester units is considered a full-time load of coursework in college.
What is an excused withdrawal Mt SAC?
This term, Mt. SAC will continue to allow students to drop with an “EW”—Excused Withdrawal. This is an acceptable mark and does not count against the student’s GPA, academic standing or ability to repeat the course.
Is Mt SAC going back to in person?
In-person classes will begin this Fall at Mt. San Antonio College. We’ve stepped up safety protocols (including more cleaning and increased air filtration), carefully following guidance from public health officials.

With subscription access to over 100 different databases, the entire SAC community can search for and find ebooks, reference books, journal-magazine-newspaper articles, maps, images, streaming videos, music, and more!
How do I enter a code on Mt SAC?
Using your username and password, log in to your Mt. SAC Portal. Add the course in using the five-digit Course Reference Number (CRN) and 6-digit ADD Authorization code. You must pay the required fee for any added class.
What does NPV grade mean?
No Pass (Effective Summer 2009) 0. NPV. No Pass (COVID-19 Year 2020)
How do I get a Mt SAC ID card?
Students interested in obtaining their Mt. SAC ID number can email their request to [email protected] This may take some time due to the COVID 19 pandemic, but once processed, the student ID number will be sent to the student’s personal email on file.
What is a passing grade at Mt. SAC?
Any student enrolled as of the first day of the fourth week in a full semester course for any semester shall receive one of the designated grading scale marks on his/her permanent records. Pass Passing ( at least equivalent to a “C” grade. Units awarded are not counted in determining the student’s grade point average.)
What GPA do you need to get into Mt. SAC?
Students who have completed a minimum of 15 college units in a given semester with a grade point average of at least 3.0 and have a minimum cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0 may petition for permission to enroll in units above the maximum.
How long is Mt. SAC summer session?
