Can you start your own club at CSUF?
The Titan Experience is unique to all students at CSUF. Students can start a new organization on campus in November to be active the beginning the following Spring Semester.
What is GE advising CSUF?
for Freshman Students As an incoming Freshman Student, you will be accessing General Education (GE) Advising Modules through Canvas in your CSUF student portal. Our hope is that these modules are informative and navigate your understanding of General Education requirements.
How do I talk to a counselor at CSUF?
Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) – CAPS provides virtual individual and group counseling sessions via Zoom. To make an appointment, call the CAPS front at (657) 278-3040 Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

How many units do you need to graduate CSUF?
Most undergraduate majors require 120 units to graduate; therefore, the standard unit cap for undergraduates is 180 units (120 X 150%). Courses numbered 500 or higher are considered graduate courses and are weighted at 1.5 times their unit value.
What is a graduation specialist?
Each college has a graduation specialist who may assist you with questions regarding your degree requirements, including general education, major and unit requirements. Once you have applied for graduation you may speak with your graduation specialist about graduation as well.
How often is it suggested that you meet with your academic advisor and or major advisor?
Experts recommend that students meet with their college academic advisors at least once a semester. However, you may meet with your college academic advisor or email them as often as you like.
What is a TDA CSUF?
The Titan Degree Audit (TDA) is the official CSUF degree tracking device. Once a student is admitted, he/she is provided with a TDA on the Student Portal.
